Krystie Joy

Krystie Joy makes music to be felt, not just heard. Every song comes from lived experience, the kind that asks a listener to sit with grief, shame, and desire, sometimes all in the same breath.

Her catalogue and live show (currently working on) move across three pillars: loss and grief — including a song written from a note left by her late mother — the raw, rarely-spoken reality of battling addiction, and unapologetic eroticism, some drawn from her own experience and some from imagination, explored through her ongoing project 50 Shades of Joy.

The lyrics can get explicit, but they're never gratuitous — every line is written to be felt, not just to shock. The goal isn't polished perfection; it's saying the things people think but rarely say out loud, and giving an audience permission to cry, laugh, and feel turned on, sometimes within the same hour.

Krystie is building toward a full live show and tour: an intimate, vulnerable hour built around real story and real feeling.
