KNIR - Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome

The Royal Netherlands Institute in Rome (KNIR) is the oldest and largest of the Dutch Scientific Institutes abroad (NWIB). For over a hundred years, the KNIR has stood for high-quality research and interdisciplinary education in the humanities, fulfilling a bridging function between Dutch universities and the academic world in Italy.
