Kathorus Kgotso Tourism

Kathorus is a compound name derived from the three closely located townships names, Katlehong, Thokoza and Vosloorus. Kathorus Kgotso Tourism (KKT) is an NPO that was established after a group of local Tourism service providers converged at Thokoza Youth Center in the month of 20 February 2015. This meeting formation of KKT was initiated after a successful tourism event that was hosted by Ekurhuleni Municipality and Gauteng Tourism Authority.

As an organization we have a vision to promote tourism in the area, however, we also want to market this place as an area of peace. The concept of peace is purely because Kathorus went through painful history of untold atrocities and violence of a massive scale.

Amenities in tourism sector began to assume shape, and this included offers for service in entertainment, food, tours, conservation, heritage, arts, accommodation and adventure amenities Main aim is positioning and promoting Kathorus as an area of choice for travelling and tourism.
