Katharina Garrard - classical electronic music

The German violinist combines violin and vocals in a new soundscape. Her compositions mix classical themes with electronic sounds and cross over between traditional music genres. 

Katharina’s love of music knows no boundaries and as a teenager she began to sing and write pop songs. She went on to study vocals at the University of Music in Berlin where she formed her first band.  

Her compositions are difficult to classify in a specific music style. Each individual composition follows its own path - sometimes familiar, sometimes idiosyncratic and sometimes even extravagant.
The multi-instrumentalist has performed her music at large open-air festivals and toured through Germany with her own concert program. With her new single "Caprice", from her current album, she climbs a new dimension.
