Kantibat

Kantibat is a Windows application for takeoff verification on PDF, DXF and DWG plans, for electrical, HVAC and plumbing trades.

Set the scale on the plan, measure lengths and areas, count symbols, organize sheets by building and floor, then export the takeoff as CSV and the cross-referenced quantities by level as Excel.

Takeoff work happens on your own machine, offline: the client's plans never leave it.

Its design rule is to never invent a figure — a quantity is measured, counted, or marked "to be measured". AI assistance is local, optional and disabled by default; it offers a check and never sets a quantity reported in a contractual document.

This channel shows the software in use, on demonstration plans.
