Kam Ching Wang | Designer Meets Gear

I’m a brand and packaging designer who somehow became an accidental YouTube EDC reviewer.

These days, you’ll find a lot more backpacks, everyday carry, tech, work gear, travel setups, and real-world packouts — basically the stuff I actually use as a designer, business owner, creator, and mom.

I’m currently documenting my journey to 4,000 watch hours, which has pushed me to experiment more, overthink less, and follow what viewers are actually responding to.

Design is still very much part of the channel. I go live to talk about graphic design, freelancing, finding clients, pricing creative work, running a studio, and what I’ve learned from nearly 20 years in the industry.

So if you like:
backpacks, EDC, tech, work + travel gear, honest reviews, design conversations, and watching someone figure out YouTube in real time… you’re in the right place.

I may have started as a design channel.

Apparently, YouTube had other plans.
