Kâğıt Fener

Kâğıt Fener (Turkish for "paper lantern") makes storybook animated short films.

A swallow who learns to listen from an old plane tree. A long winter in a quiet village. Friendships that grow slowly, like rings in a tree. Every film is drawn with ink and watercolour and told like a book you read by lantern light.

We make few films, and we make each one with care. Stories from Anatolia, for every age.

Watch in English or Turkish: choose the audio track in the video settings.
New films and trailers: subscribe and light the lantern.
