Just Jesus with Mike Meierhofer

“For the love of Christ controls us...”  2 Corinthians 5:14

These words of Paul shape my own ministry; because Jesus first loved me, I must help others come to know Him and become like Him.  In 1984, I graduated from the Center for Christian Education in Bible.  Then, in 2002, I earned a bachelor’s degree in Ministry and Leadership from Dallas Christian College.  I’ve done work on my Master’s degree in Bible and Ministry from Lubbock Christian University.  

I love teaching and preaching the love of God.  I love watching the word of God and the Spirit of God transform lives as people become Christians and grow up to be mature disciples of Christ.  Besides serving the Lord at Walnut Hill, I have been involved in our mission work in Cambodia since 2009, having made over 20 trips to Cambodia to share the Good News of Jesus in remote villages.
