“E N E  R   G    Y” (April 11th, 2026) hones in on a rock and roll of forward-leaning, acoustic-driven bangers, familiar if you’re a fan of 1980’s punk-ish bands like the Violent Femmes or The Feelies, or even the driving, mid-2000’s Australian garage of Eddy Current Suppression Ring.

“Energy is the truest and most valuable currency known to mankind,” Collins says. “The only currency, in my opinion. It’s the only thing that can pay for change and self-empowerment. And the cool thing about energy is that it’s always there for you if you want it.” 
 
And Collins has plenty of energy these days. The once hard-partying dude who wrote swaggering underground rock and roll anthems like “Totally Lonely” for the Deer Tick/Los Lobos supergroup Diamond Rugs — Collins also co-produced the group’s two acclaimed albums — is now sober, focused, and totally healthy. He quit smoking, eats clean, and has been disappearing on secretive jungle retreats focusing on meditation and healing.
