Julessa Scofield Metalsmith Mentor

I’m Julessa Scofield, a metalsmith, educator, and mentor helping jewelers learn how to think at the bench—not just follow instructions.

Here you’ll find practical guidance on stone setting, soldering, tools, metal gauge, bench math, fabrication, troubleshooting, and the decisions that help you become a more confident metalsmith.

My focus is helping beginner and intermediate makers understand not only what to do, but why it works, what to notice, and how to solve problems when a project doesn’t go as planned.
