Joaquín Reyes González

I was raised by my family in a small village in Burgos called Fuentecén, where I grew up surrounded by vineyards. Every summer, I spent time in the village's cooperative winery, which was originally known as San Mamés and later became Doble R, working alongside my grandfather. Despite being deeply rooted in the world of wine, I pursued a degree in Industrial Engineering at ICAI and later earned a Master’s in Space Technology from the Technical University of Madrid (UPM). This education led me into the space sector, where I’ve worked for more than 20 years.

Throughout my career, I’ve lived in over five countries, including the Netherlands, Italy, Germany, and, most recently, the Czech Republic, where I currently reside. Here, I’ve been able to merge my passion for wine with my work as an engineer specializing in satellite signal processing.
