After witnessing biased policing in Paso Robles — including harassment of minorities and un-homed individuals, I felt compelled to hold local government and law enforcement accountable — especially after seeing an un-homed person beaten by multiple officers in a nearby town.

Not all people in court are criminals — especially when you're trying to hold government officials accountable and you are the one being prosecuted for it, while they trample on your constitutional rights.
