John's Fishing Journeys

Fishing is my passion. If I'm not fishing, I'm thinking about when and where I get to go fishing next. It's a borderline addiction for me; buying gear, watching fishing vids, daydreaming about my next outing, talking fishing with friends, buying baits and lures... it's nonstop. My past choices brought me to a dark place in my life where I struggled with alcohol and drug addiction for many years. Today, sobriety is my top priority. It has given me back the love of my family, the bonds of great friendships, the ability to care for and help others, and the simple pleasures in life like standing in a stream with a fishing pole in your hand while the sun rises. Fishing is a strong form of recovery for me. My channel will focus on finesse fishing in creeks and rivers and on lakes and ponds in the kayak for small and largemouth bass. If you love fishing like I do and feel rejuvenated being outside in Mother Nature come along with me on my fishing journeys. Johnsfishingjourneys@yahoo.com
