John Calvin & The Barnstormers

John Calvin has always had an interest in songwriting and performing. He listened to all genres of music but had the most connection to country and southern rock. While having guitars in his youth, he never had the privilege of having lessons to grow his skills for making music. It wasn't until later in life and after starting a family, that he was gifted an acoustic guitar. John began practicing guitar alone after work and in any spare time he could seem to find. Having jam sessions on the couch in his living room, with his cousin and fellow co-workers, became a regular occurrence. This only strengthened his love for music even more.

After years of playing privately, John Calvin has become a locally renowned singer-songwriter in Berea, Ky. He has worked with various local artists in Kentucky and Tennessee composing, collaborating, and producing. The music industry can be quite hard to navigate, but John has built a name for himself and has maintained a dedicated fan base.
