Roda de Samba (Samba Circle): the game

Samba Wheel: Rio de Janeiro, Samba, Culture and Game is a way to reach schools and families through a card game that brings together various elements and references to black culture, Rio de Janeiro, and especially, samba and its traditions.

With development beginning in 2020, the game has become an educational and cultural project out of pure vocation, and has been experienced by elementary and undergraduate school students, as well as the general public, at events, through actions of the Identity(s) and Teaching Knowledge Research Group, of the Rio de Janeiro Higher Institute of Education - ISERJ, and its initiative Sementes Lúdicas.

The current goal is to materialize, distribute and dynamize the card game and its educational dynamics among educational institutions (elementary and higher education), public bodies and initiatives dedicated to samba, culture, black culture, Carioca and Brazilian culture.
