I've been a journalist for four decades (hit that milestone in October 2024 😊). A good part of that journey has been in the enlivening atmosphere of The Economic Times. Worked in Kochi, Mumbai, Coimbatore, Thiruvananthapuram and Chennai through these years. 

The Joe-metric View channel idea was triggered when a roughly century-old mango at home came crashing down on a March day in 2020, crushing small and big trees under its trunk, branches and foliage. 

That prompted a video on how the rampaging Covid-19 was impacting different sectors just like the fallen mango did to the vegetation underneath. 

That vlogging journey continues, past the fifth year milestone in March 2025.
