Jilly’s Music

26/04/2022

I have wrote lyrics for years. On and off but never had the ability to create them into a finished product. Well last year I decided to teach myself the piano, mainly cords for writing. This has been the key to unlocking the creative flare within me. Over the last 3 months I have taught myself how to multitrack, mix, produce, and make videos to create the finishing product I wanted. Without the funds to use the professionals this was the only way for me. As I have these finished products now I wish to share my work, I have enough for two album, and still have plenty of lyrics waiting to tell their stories. To me it all starts with the lyrics, it’s like storytelling.
All my songs are raw, live vocals, live piano, and live bass. There are bits of synth, and guitar added through an app in places to fill out the songs, everything produced from my phone. There are imperfections there too, but everything done to my best ability in that moment.
