Jean Dow Herbalist

I’m Jean Dow, a medical herbalist with more than 20 years in practice. I take the time to properly hear you, then use herbal and functional medicine to find and treat the root of long-term health problems, not just the symptoms.

Here I share short notes from my clinic: how herbs work and how they have traditionally been used, and practical advice on gut health, menopause and hormones, and how damp and mould at home can affect you.

I see patients in Edinburgh, on the Isle of Skye and online.

Member of the National Institute of Medical Herbalists (MNIMH) and Institute for Functional Medicine (IFM) Certified Practitioner.
