James Wyatt Crosby

James Wyatt Crosby is a Toronto-based recording artist and multi-instrumentalist creating experimental dream pop with hazy melodies, fragmented textures, and emotionally direct songwriting. His music blends lo-fi production, distorted guitars, and layered vocals into intimate, immersive tracks.

Crosby gained attention with his 2017 debut album Twins, which included the sleeper hit “Deep In Yr Mind” and earned recognition on Nerdist’s “25 Best Underground Albums of 2017.” His upcoming fourth album, Goner (May 2026, Wavy Sun Records), is his most raw and introspective work, written in the aftermath of a long-term relationship. The album unfolds from fragile early tracks to emotionally exposed later recordings, capturing moments of grief, disorientation, and personal reflection.

Across his catalog, Crosby explores vulnerability, memory, and emotional collapse through a distinctly experimental dream pop lens, producing music that feels immediate, intimate, and texturally rich.
