Jails, Gangs & Justice by Jacob Little

My name is Jacob Little, co-founder of About Time For Justice, helping survivors of institutional child abuse heal, seek justice, and possible compensation. At 17, I was incarcerated, and I suffered SA. I turned 18 in custody and went back again, facing solitary confinement for gang associations. I was the president of an outlaw motorcycle club and gang leader. I was raised in a housing commission estate marked by violence, domestic violence. I narrowly escaped a 20-year sentence. I grew up visiting jails from 10 years old as my dad did 16 and half years straight in the New South Wales prison systems. I am now a law student at UNE; I’ve overcome drug and alcohol addiction, run two marathons, and train every day while staying on top of my mental health. I aim to use my platform to help others learn from my experiences, inspire change, and support those who have faced similar struggles.
