Welcome. I’m Jackie — retired after a career in technology and user experience design, with a college degree in horticulture that I now get to use every day.

For years I designed digital systems that worked beautifully for people. Now I apply that same thinking at home — in the kitchen, in the garden, and in the quiet routines that shape daily life.

I bake bread from scratch. I grow what I actually cook. I propagate plants — one of my favorite slow, patient pleasures. And I love photographing what I’m doing along the way, capturing the light in the kitchen and the small changes in the garden.

This is a modern, uncluttered approach to living well — thoughtful systems, seasonal work, and creative practice woven into everyday life.

No rush. No excess. Just a well-designed life at home.
