Issa The Artist

Ofentse Issachar Nthite better known as Issa The Artist, is a 20 year old emerging rap artist from the city of Johannesburg, South Africa.

Issa The Artist grew up surrounded by music, his mother and father playing gospel and jazz music encouraged his passion for music at a young age. By the time he was nine years old, he had already decided to pursue music as a career. He started writing and recording songs in his bedroom after saving pocket money to buy basic studio equipment. He then released his songs on YouTube and SoundCloud, showcasing his music abilities.

His debut EP, Thank God 4 Rap , marks a defining moment, a self-produced body of work that reflects his growth and dedication to the craft. With only one feature (from Yung Turner ) and a focus on pure expression, the project introduces Issa The Artist as a voice rooted in honesty and purpose.
