Iron Arrows Homestead

We are a family with 5 children who follow Jesus. We also have a few dogs, various poultry and cats. It's always changing and we are always learning. Our goal is to produce as much as possible for our larder (pantry and freezer) using organic practices and to be able to share with friends. This includes composting and using quality seeds and feed. Our animals are pasture based, which means that they are out eating healthy grass all day, the way God intended! We are attempting to take care some raised beds, a small greenhouse, my daughter's flowers, berry bushes and fruit. In the last few years, we have learned how to can, pressure can, make jam, pickle (ferment), grind wheat, bake and cook from scratch using organic/whole ingredients and next on the list is cheese making! And all this on 2 1/2 acres in the mid-south! We are constantly seeing how amazing and loving God is!!
