Tanisi everyone! Thanks for joining the Indigenous Art Adventures channel! My name is Lance Cardinal. I am an Indigenous artist from the Treaty 8 Bigstone Cree Nation territory in Northern Alberta. I am always excited to meet new people and share my passion for art and creative thinking! I originally started these videos on Facebook during the covid-19 pandemic to help bring online fun and positivity to kids and parents during isolation. I also love to share my Northern Cree culture, doing what I can to help bridge the gap of understanding between Indigenous and Non-indigenous Canadians. I incorporate basic words, numbers and colours into the art project where I can, and even feature Famous Indigenous Artists and their works.
