Prof. Imam Syed Badiuddin Soharwardy

Prof. Imam Syed Badiuddin Soharwardy (پروفیسر امام سید بدیع الدین سہروردی) is the founder of Islamic Supreme Council of Canada (ISCC), Muslims Against Terrorism (MAT) and 7 charities in Canada. He is the founder and chairman of ISCC affiliate mosques. He received his Islamic education from his father, teacher and Murshad، Allama Syed Muhammad Riazuddin Soharwardy (Rahmatullah Alaih) at Darul Uloom Soharwardia at Jamia Bughdadi Masjid, Martin Road Karachi. He has Ijaza from his Murshad for Sisilah Soharwardia, Qadriyah and Chishtiya.  Prof. Soharwardy is author of two books; Defeating Hate - a comprehensive rebuttal to Taliban, AlQaeda, ISIS and Islamophobes and hundreds of articles.
Beside his Islamic education Prof. Soharwardy has two Master degrees in Engineering, a Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering and another Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering. He is the only Muslim who led Multi Faith walk across Canada from Halifax, NS to Victoria, BC (6500KM) in 7 months in 2008.
