ILLSAM

Samukelo Nkosi best known as ILLSAM is a musician, personality and content producer born and raised in raised in Durban, South Africa. He started rapping at the tender age of 9 years old.

After breaking away as a solo artist from group “Toon Clique”, in 2017 he decided to release an E.P called "RELAXEAL" which got him his first radio single with "Dont Be Afraid". He then ventured into presenting and landed in Top 25 for MTV Base VJ Search 2017 and after a 3 year hiatus he returned with an Instagram Live podcast called "Inkwarintine Live" where he interviewed the likes of Cassper Nyovest, Blxckie, Uncle Vinny, Robot Boii, DBN GOGO, etc.

He has since returned to music with undeniable bangers such as “Shukela”, “You Know That” and “Uyakhumbula” which all landed on the charts on national TV and radio and thousands of streams on DSPs.
