ILEKTAN

ILEKTAN (“the branches” in the Tuareg language) is a fusion project born from the meeting of Malian Tuareg guitarist and singer Mossa Kidan and Cuban guitarist Hansel Gonzalez, joined on stage by Algerian percussionist and backing vocalist Hamid Gribi.
Originally from Kidal, northern Mali, Mossa Kidan draws on his Tuareg heritage and Tamasheq language, blending traditional roots with blues, rock and contemporary influences.
On stage, ILEKTAN delivers a powerful amplified live performance, combining electric guitars, percussion, vocals and hypnotic rhythms. The music builds a journey between Tuareg traditions, blues-rock and contemporary sounds, inviting movement, dance and connection.
