Initiative for Justice Development and Peace

Justice Development and Peace Commission (JDPC) is one of the commissions of the
Catholic Diocese of Yola known to be the social arm of the church which has the mandate
of promoting and propagating social development and justice in the Diocese of Yola and
the Adamawa State at large. Established in 1993 by the catholic bishop of Yola. The
commission became registered with Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) with the
Name: Initiative for Justice Development and Peace building in Nigeria (IJDPN). The
commission reaches out to all humanity regardless of their faith, political or ethnic
affiliation and gives special attention to the less privileged, vulnerable and marginalized
persons in society.
