IFMA The Food Away from Home Association

Since 1952, IFMA has supported foodservice manufacturers and, over 70+ years, evolved alongside legends and innovators of the industry. The pandemic reshaped our world, pushing the food-away-from-home industry to collaborate like never before. Today, IFMA is a thriving ecosystem uniting manufacturers, operators, supply chain partners, and service providers. We’re not just IFMA—we’re the voice of the food-away-from-home industry. Defined by the USDA, this includes everything from restaurants and hospitals to ready-to-eat grocery items. In 2023, consumer spending on food away from home hit $1.5 trillion—58.5% of total U.S. food spend—driven by lifestyle shifts and convenience. Join us as we shape the future of where and how America eats.
