The hungry homestead

I'm a 48-year-old disabled man. i started my working career at 13. i took a job working for a orchard that was near my home. at 15 i moved on to work for a tarp shop ' i stayed there till graduation. the next years of my life took me many differt directions. i became a journeyman millwright. then on to become a merchant marine. in the marine industry i became a engineer. till in October of 2019 they found a brain tumor. they removed all they could of it March 25 2020' and said it was non cancer. that we were ok ;i fought to recover and march of 2021i returned to work. in January of 2023 i went to routine checkup and the mri showed it had grown back bigger than before so April of 2023 i went thru another 14-hour surgery. the damage to my brain and nervous system disabled me, i have not delt well with this.so I'm trying to find a hobby i can handle in my condition. so I'm going to try small scale homesteading and find ways to do this with my disability. and prove to myself i can do it.
