How Not to Break a Human Body

How Not to Break a Human Body

A body of work about being human — and what happens when we stop treating the body, our relationships and ourselves as problems to be fixed.

Here we explore the things we experience every day through observation, curiosity and the intelligence of the living body.

Human development.
Relationships and intimacy.
Identity, autonomy and agency.
Healing and adaptation.
Movement and body intelligence.
Support, trust and effort.
And the patterns that connect them all.

I’m interested in the simple things we often overlook — and what they reveal when we actually stop and pay attention.

SomaFlow™ is the movement expression of this work: an exploration of how the body organises itself for support, capacity and movement.

How Not to Break a Human Body is also the title of my upcoming book.

This is an evolving body of work.
