🕊 About Houbara Foundation International Pakistan (HFIP)
For the conservation of the Houbara Bustard, in particular, and wildlife in general, the HFIP was established in 1995, along with the Human Welfare & Nature Conservation Society (HWNCS). The Foundation was created under the patronage of the late President of the UAE & Ruler of Abu Dhabi, His Highness Sheikh Zayed Bin Sultan Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace) and the late His Highness Sheikh Khalifa Bin Zayed Al Nahyan (May his soul rest in peace). This generous support is graciously continued by His Highness Sheikh Mohamed Bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the UAE and Ruler of Abu Dhabi. HFIP works to facilitate and assist the Government and Law Enforcement Agencies in implementing effective conservation strategies. It also ensures that sustainable hunting of Houbara Bustards is organised for invited dignitaries by the relevant Provincial and Federal authorities.
