Hong Kong Songs 50s, 60s and 70s

I love the music from Hong Kong from the 50's and 60's and that is why I started this channel. I will post songs and videos that fall into this genre. Many of these songs borrow their melody from other popular tunes so I will try to put the original song melody in (parentheses) like this. I will also attempt to include the Chinese lyrics of the song in the descriptions. If you know the lyrics, please help me by posting a comment with the Chinese lyrics

The most famous male singer at the time was 鄭君綿 (Cheng Gwan-Min). He sang his songs in a Cantonese style with the humor of that period. As I learn more artists, I will add to this Channel Description. Please post comments to help. Enjoy and let's build a great channel to honor the music and artists from this era.
