Holy Shifted - AI Engineering

Welcome to Holy Shifted! 🚀

AI engineering, explained simply. How AI systems are built: architecture, tools, trade-offs, and the engineering decisions around them.

I'm Dima, a lead backend developer. I use these tools at work and run my own AI agents on a home server, so the videos come from setups I actually run, including the parts that break.

What you'll find here:
- How AI systems fit together: models, context, retrieval (RAG), tools and MCP, agents
- Architecture decisions and their trade-offs: cost, latency, rate limits, where things fail
- Practical setups: coding agents, free and paid models, and what each one really costs you
- Short explainers for the AI terms you keep hearing at work

Long videos for the full picture, Shorts for one idea at a time.
