成立於1957年，宗旨是向公眾推廣觀鳥，研究及保育香港及周邊地區的鳥類及其自然生態。自2013年起成為國際鳥盟的成員(Partner)。

Founded in 1957, which promotes bird watching, studies and conserves birds in Hong Kong & surrounding areas as well as the related habitat. Since 2013, we have been a Partner of BirdLife International.
