* Hitting the road: Precarious living through the lense and place *
People are on the move more than ever. Their stories aren’t always about tourism or wanting to leave or even go anywhere. In modern Europe, people are uncertain in many ways. It can lead to new forms of mobility, as yet unprecedented in freedom, but many people are on the move because they were forced to. In this social photography project, I aim to produce a visual encyclopedia for “being on the move”. That's where the stories are most alive and often they are untold. When you have to flee, you leave one place. When you arrive somewhere, the inbetween is usually stripped of its meaning. The inbetweeness of mobility is what I want to show the world!
