Terje Tvedt on global history, the Nile, and water

This channel primarily contains films and clips from films about the role of water in global history and development that I have written and presented:  "A Journey in the History of water" (4 episodes 52 min. each),  "A Journey in the Future of water" (3 episodes 52 min. each), and "The Nile Quest"  3 episodes 52 min. each). These docs have been shown by Netflix, National Geographic, Al Jazeera, Discovery, Documentary Channel and on national TV-stations all over the world. The films have also been used in many teaching programs on water, water management, and in many general history classes.

The channel also includes five documentaries dealing with Norwegian international development aid, emergency aid, NGOs and charity-work - or with activities within what I call the humanitarian-political complex.
