HikingMovie

Welcome! I am a 60+ year old solo, female, thru-hiker. Trail name Greyhound; I have hiked SC trails like the Foothills Trail and the Palmetto Trail for years. I completed several thru-hikes of the 76 mile Foothills Trail and have done one thru-hike of the 400 mile Palmetto Trail. In 2023, I completed a thru-hike of the 2198 mile Appalachian Trail and hiked the Pacific Crest Trail in 2025-26.

When researching my thru-hike of the Palmetto Trail, I wasn’t able to find much info. While hiking it, I decided to video the passages to help others. Then used the channel to document the challenges and joys of hiking the AT and PCT as a senior hiker. I hope these videos will give you the confidence to get out and enjoy the trail, like I do, even if you don't know anyone crazy enough to do a long hike with you.
