Herbert Designs | Book binding

Learn bookbinding from scratch — and build the tools to do it yourself.

I fell hard for the craft of making books. This channel is for beginners: simple bookbinding you can do at home, book binding stitches explained step by step, how to rebind an old book, and how to build your own bookbinding tools — sewing frames (looms), book presses and more — without spending a fortune.

What you'll find here:
• Beginner bookbinding tutorials, start to finish
• DIY bookbinding tool builds with real measurements
• Stitches and techniques explained slowly and clearly
• Classic public-domain books rebound by hand
• Quire, my browser-based tool for printing book signatures, Its' free!
