Harold Odegard

Hi, I’m Harold.

I’m a guitarist, public school music teacher, and researcher with a doctorate in music education.

This channel is where I think out loud about musicianship.

I make videos about learning music, teaching music, and—most importantly—building a musical life that lasts.

You’ll find conversations about guitar, creativity, practice, identity, adult learners, music education, and the experiences that keep people connected to music long after the lesson is over.

Whether you’re a beginner, a lifelong musician, a teacher, or simply someone trying to reconnect with music…

I’m glad you’re here.

Let’s keep the conversation going.
