The Purpose of Life

The Quran is the central religious text of Islam, believed by Muslims to be a revelation from God (Allah) to the Prophet Muhammad over a period of approximately 23 years, beginning in 610 CE and ending in 632 CE, the year of Muhammad's death. It is considered the literal word of God as revealed to Muhammad(saw) in Arabic, and it serves as the ultimate source of guidance for Humanity in matters of faith, practice, morality, and law.

Structure and Organization: The Quran is divided into 114 chapters, known as surahs, which vary in length and are arranged roughly from the longest to the shortest. Each surah is further divided into verses, known as ayahs. The Quranic text is written in classical Arabic prose and is renowned for its eloquence, rhythm, and literary style.

The Quran serves as the primary source of Islamic law (Sharia), providing guidance on matters of worship, ethics, family life, business transactions, and societal norms.
