Mohammadreza Taheri, a Maddah (eulogist) of the Ahl al-Bayt (AS), was born in 1959 in Farahan, Arak, and is the son of Haj Mohammad Taghi Taheri. He began reciting eulogies as a teenager in the Hossein Jan Naziabad congregation and performed religious chants on the frontlines during the Iran-Iraq War.

He gained fame in the 1990s at the Panbechi Hosseiniyeh in Tehran and later performed in Maktab al-Zahra, Al-Hadi Mosque in Majidiyeh, and Fatemeh al-Zahra Hosseiniyeh in Meydan-e Sepah. His presence at the Supreme Leader’s residence and collaborations with Mahmoud Karimi further solidified his reputation.
