GYLA has her full name: Global Youth Leadership Academy. GYLA was founded in 2016 by Dr. Liangrong Zu, senior United Nations Offical, in collaboration with the UN agencies and prestigious academic institions. The purpose of GYLA is to inspire and empower young people as future leaders, social innovators, entrepreneurs and change makers to buid a better world. GYLA is a unique platform where young people can have the opportunity to dialogue with and learn from successful leaders; GYLA is also a cradle where young people can be nurtured to be future leaders, and unleash their  inner sources of new growth potential and achieve new levels of personal fulfilment.
Dr. Zu is a specialist in corporate social responsibility (CSR), business ethics, sustainability science, social innovation, social entrepreneurship, Taoist leadership, etc. He holds PhD in business and management at the Nottingham University Business School in United Kingdom, and he is the author of articles and many books.
