Genesee Valley Council on the Arts

Genesee Valley Council on the Arts has been working to enrich the quality of life in the Genesee Valley Region for over 50 years by promoting culture and the arts. GVCA does this by supporting an array of programs and services for artists including: administering grants from the Decentralization Program (DEC) formed by NYSCA in 1977, offering year-round programming in our three galleries that solicit work from regional artists, maintaining one of the largest collections of artwork from the WPA in our New Deal Collection and most importantly, hosting an array of family-friendly community events and classes.
