Growing Opportunities International (GO!)

Growing Opportunities International (GO!) is a Canadian-based non-profit organization that partners with motivated individuals in developing countries who have sustainable project ideas to positively impact their communities.  GO! works hand in hand with its partners on the planning, funding, and implementing of every project until it becomes self-sufficient within the community.  
GO!'s first project involved partnering with Marceline Nirere, a Rwandan nursery school teacher who had spent six years voluntarily teaching nursery school to over 80 children on her back porch.  Together they created a two-classroom school house.  Since the initial construction, a library, a rain water catchment system, play structures, toilets, and a breakfast program have all bee added. GO! also supports GO! for Goals - a youth sport and education program in Tanzania
