Grounded In Therapy

I'm Heidi Shepherd, a BACP accredited integrative counsellor & EMDR therapist. I created this channel after hearing from many clients they'd never been taught self-soothing or grounding techniques before. This channel is a space to try different therapy tools, as I guide you through breathing exercises, grounding techniques, visualisations & bedtime stories. Together we'll tackle issues, such as anxiety, overwhelm, panic, stress, anger & insomnia. If these tools help, add them to your 'tool kit'.

I appreciate we live in a world where we’re often looking for quick answers, instant solutions, and information at the touch of a button. But when it comes to regulating your nervous system, healing and finding a sense of grounding, it’s important to remember these things take time and consistency. To get maximum benefit from my content, I encourage you to slow down and follow along with the practices from start to finish.

I post new videos every week. I'd love you to join me.

Heidi :)
