Or a spoken word monologue on the horrors of internet dating scored in the style of Mr Bungle with pitch-perfect precision? Maybe you’d prefer psychosis-infused showtunes. Not to your taste? Producer/composer duo Nic Gaumond and Philippe Macnab-Séguin from Montréal, Canada, irreverently throw caution (and their formal training) to the wind. Combining their genre-bending, absurdist tendencies with a raw electronic production style and traditional arranging chops, they enjoy drawing listeners into comic nightmares and colourful dreamscapes.
