Science of Fishing w/ The Green Valley Anglers

Science-backed bass fishing tips from 30 years on the water. Studies on bass vision, hearing, scent, location, and catch-and-release — translated into what to throw and where to fish.

I’m Travis. I grew up fishing farm ponds on California’s Central Coast and still fish those same waters plus bigger lakes from the bank, kayak, and boat. This channel takes real research and turns it into practical advice for weekend anglers who want more bites without wasting money on myths.

What you’ll find here:
• Bass science (vision, hearing, lateral line, scent, taste)
• Where bass actually live by season and water type
• Catch-and-release that keeps fish alive
• Lure color, vibration, and presentation that match how bass hunt
• Seasonal patterns with a reason behind them
