The Jean Shepherd Show

Jean Parker Shepherd Jr. (July 26, 1921 – October 16, 1999) was an American humorist, radio personality, storyteller, writer, and actor, best known for pioneering free-form talk radio through his extemporaneous late-night monologues on WOR in New York City and for his semi-autobiographical works that inspired the 1983 film "A Christmas Story," which he narrated and co-scripted. 

This channel has many of Jean's restored radio show recordings, live stage performances, and interviews from the 1950's to the 1990's. You can find most of the original Jean Shepherd recordings on public sites like archive.org and flicklives.com.
