Grady Hoss & the Sidewinders

Grady Hoss and the Sidewinders is a modern day country artist with a classic country twang. Singer/songwriter Lance Davis (Grady Hoss) formed the band during the decline of his father’s battle with Alzheimer’s in 2014. His father Jerome Grady Davis was a North Carolina native who loved classic country music. Lance grew up listening to rock n roll in his poster covered bedroom while his dad always had old country music playing throughout the rest of the house, cars and back porch. Lance started revisiting the old country music as a nostalgic way to remember the father he knew BEFORE the mind crippling disease. On Jan 26, 2016 his father passed away. The band is named after his father “Grady” his dad’s middle name, “Hoss” his father’s nickname given by friends and family and “Sidewinder”  his dad’s CB handle in the 70’s/80’s coined after a Texas rattlesnake.
